Bernard McIlroy trained with a large firm of accountants before qualifying as a solicitor in a law firm in 1999 and becoming a partner in an international law firm in 2005

Bernard has extensive experience in all aspects of transactional tax. In particular, advising on exit planning, reorganisations and reconstructions and the structuring of private equity backed transactions.

Fiona Sutherland qualified as a solicitor with a City firm in 1994 and became a partner in an international law firm in 2001.

Fiona has specialised in corporate tax work since qualification and has broad experience of transactional tax, (in particular reorganisations, reconstructions and exit planning) and in structuring and implementing all types of employee share incentives for a broad range of private and public companies.
